The admission notice for the 2025–2026 academic year at Jagannath University (JnU) has officially been published. As per the notice, the JNU Admission test will be held in a single shift. There will be no selection procedure this year.
The announcement came through an official circular issued on Wednesday (November 5, 2025). It was signed by Professor Dr. Sheikh Rafiqul Islam, Acting Registrar of Jagannath University.
JnU Admission 2026: Who Can Apply
According to the circular, students who have passed the SSC or equivalent examination in 2022 or 2023, and the HSC or equivalent examination in 2025, are eligible to apply. Interested candidates must also meet the specific eligibility requirements set for each unit of Jagannath University.
Eligible students can apply for admission to the 1st-year Bachelor (Honours) and BBA programs under the 2025–2026 academic session.
The online application process for JnU Admission 2025–26 will begin on November 20, 2025, at 12:00 PM, and continue until December 3, 2025, at 11:59 PM.

During the online process, candidates will need to pay a separate application fee for each unit:
Tk 1,000 for A, B, C, and D Units
Tk 1,200 for E Unit

Jagannath University Admission Test Dates 2025–26
As per the official schedule, the admission tests for different units will be held on the following dates:
The Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) has released Primary School Circular 2025 for Assistant Teachers. The authority will recruit a total of 10,219 teachers in Govt Primary School. Interested candidates can submit their application online at dpe.teletalk.com.bd.
The information has officially announced on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. A notice was issued on the DPE Website which signed by Education Board Chairman.
Online applications will open on November 8, 2025 (Saturday) and continue until 11:59 PM on November 21, 2025. The application fee has been fixed at Tk 100.
According to the circular, this phase of recruitment is open only to candidates from Rajshahi, Rangpur, Sylhet, Khulna, Barishal, and Mymensingh divisions. Separate circulars will later be published for Dhaka and Chattogram divisions.
a–wise, meaning a candidate can apply only for the upazila where they are a permanent resident.
Abu Noor Md. Shamsuzzaman, Director General of DPE, said:
“The circular is now available online. Applicants can start submitting their forms from Friday midnight.”
He added that the recruitment will follow the Government Primary School Teacher Recruitment Rules 2025, which were recently revised and approved.
The Assistant Teacher post is under Grade 13 in the National Pay Scale 2015, with a monthly salary range between Tk 11,000 and Tk 26,590.
To apply, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree (Pass or Honours) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
Need at least a second division or equivalent CGPA — minimum 2.25 on a 4.0 scale or 2.8 on a 5.0 scale.
Candidates having a third division/class or equivalent GPA at any level will not be accepted.
Age must be between 21 and 32 years as of November 30, 2025.

According to DPE sources, there are currently around 13,500 assistant teacher vacancies in government primary schools. In addition, about 32,000 teachers are working as acting head teachers. Once promoted, these posts will also become vacant, creating even more openings.
The circular was delayed because of changes in the recruitment rules. The new Government Primary School Teacher Recruitment Rules 2025 were published on August 28, 2025, removing the old 60% quota system.
Originally, the rules included new positions for music and physical education teachers, but several religious and social groups opposed it. After the controversy, the government removed those positions and released the revised version of the rules on November 2, 2025.
